Job Summary

Horizon Construction Group LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Lead Superintendent** to oversee the construction of a 230-unit multi-family apartment complex project in a major metropolitan area.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of Superintendents to ensure the successful completion of the project within the scheduled timeframe.
  • Coordinate all project field operations, including subcontractors, materials deliveries, and labor, to meet project requirements.
  • Ensure the project punch list is completed (100%) within 15 days of receipt of the occupancy permit.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage project field operations, including subcontractor management, material deliveries, and labor scheduling.
  • Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment expenses.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including schedules, budgets, and quality control.
  • Develop and implement effective safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
Requirements
  • A minimum of ten years' experience in construction, including large-scale multi-family residential and/or commercial construction.
  • Required to have or get upon employment OSHA30 and First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Familiarity with all facets of construction, including earthwork, drainage, framing, finishes, and all mechanicals.
  • A high degree of construction field expertise and leadership skills are required.
  • Ability to supervise, teach, and motivate staff; willingness to perform any task that is required and possess good safety habits.
  • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and meet critical time deadlines are crucial to this position.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Agile in decision-making and judgment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk on uneven ground, and climb ladders up to 24 feet.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
Salary

$100,000 - $130,000
