You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and make a positive impact on patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care.
- Current State of Indiana Registered Nurse License or compact license required.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing as a Registered Professional Nurse. Associates Degree required.
- 1 year of clinical/hospital RN experience preferred.
- BLS must be maintained throughout employment with Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic nursing skills, including phlebotomy.
