Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at MaineHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate total nursing care for patients, including infants, children, and adults, in a variety of settings.
  • Participate in patient and family teaching, providing education and support to promote healthy behaviors and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently, using established medical record documentation and terminology.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Active RN license in the state of Maine.
  • RQI BLS Certification within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Other certifications specific to department policies may be required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
