Seeking a Skilled Cardiovascular Technologist

TotalMed is a leading healthcare staffing agency seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, such as echocardiograms and cardiac catheterizations, to help diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases.

About the Role:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as echocardiograms and cardiac catheterizations
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, such as ultrasound machines and fluoroscopy units
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any complications
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in a related field, such as cardiovascular technology or medical imaging
  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist, such as RDCS or RVT
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
