The WVU Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a dedicated and academically motivated Non-Invasive Cardiologist to enhance our esteemed faculty team. Joining our institute means collaborating with a diverse group of medical experts, including surgeons, medical cardiologists, radiologists, and vascular specialists, all committed to advancing patient care and making a significant impact on health outcomes.
Position Overview:
- Multiple locations available within the WVU network
- Flexibility to select a single location or share responsibilities across various sites
- Opportunities for different academic ranks, including Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor
- Customize your role to align with your expertise and interests
- Engagement in Core Faculty Cardiology and/or Community-based Cardiology
- Attractive compensation package in accordance with MGMA standards
- Manageable on-call schedule with support from call attendees
- Access to scribes and support staff during on-call hours
- Potential for leadership roles within the institute
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in your chosen subspecialty, though it is not mandatory
- Participate in clinical duties one day per week
- Manage an average of 16 patients daily, with a mix of new and follow-up visits
- Engage in administrative responsibilities within a scholarly environment
Compensation and Benefits:
- Potential earnings exceeding $500,000
- RVU compensation model available

- One week dedicated to Continuing Medical Education (CME)
Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO) required
- Licensure: Must possess valid medical licensure and Board Certification in Cardiology
- Experience: Proven skills in change management and clinical program development, with preferred experience in residency mentorship.
