ROLE OVERVIEW

The Therapeutic Communication Specialist evaluates and provides treatment to patients while effectively communicating with clients and team members. You will maintain accurate documentation of services rendered and conduct ongoing training sessions for patients and staff on restorative techniques. All responsibilities must align with established medical standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.

  • Supervise Therapy Assistants and students in delivering patient care in accordance with state regulations.
  • Assess patients based on identified needs.
  • Travel or provide services across various facilities as directed by supervisory staff.
  • Engage in departmental studies and projects as necessary.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduation from an accredited institution with a valid state license or eligibility for licensure in the service area.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality, person-centered care with dignity, respect, compassion, and integrity, while embodying the organization's values of care, community, honesty, teamwork, innovation, and safety.
  • Ability to represent the organization ethically and professionally, maintaining accountability.
