Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will play a critical role in our cardiac care team, utilizing your expertise in performing echocardiograms and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of various cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with accepted protocols.
  • Record patient test results and report results to physicians.
  • Monitor patient comfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians to abnormalities or changes in patient responses.
  • Maintain adequate supplies and verify all equipment is in proper working condition.
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
  • Submit high-quality images and documents to PACS.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent years of experience and education.
  • RCS or RDCS certification required within 12 months of hire.
  • 1 year of experience preferred, but new grads welcome.
