Cryptologic Intelligence Specialists work closely with Airmen to provide critical threat warnings and actionable intelligence essential for mission planning and safety. They utilize advanced foreign language proficiency to analyze messages obtained during flight, ensuring timely responses to emerging threats.

Requirements
To become an Airborne Cryptologic Language Analyst, candidates must meet rigorous qualifications and complete extensive military training. Key requirements include:
- A minimum age of 17 and a maximum age of 42 on the date of enlistment
- A valid ASVAB score of 72 or higher in the General category
- Demonstrated proficiency in a designated language, or successful graduation from the Defense Language Institute
- Completion of Initial Qualification Training and a valid aviation qualification
- No record history of temporomandibular joint pain or disorder
- Height between 59 inches and 80 inches
