Polytek Development Corp. is a leading manufacturer of mold making and casting materials. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chemist with a strong background in latex formulations to join our rapidly expanding company.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective latex formulation strategies to meet customer needs and drive business growth.
- Provide daily direction and communication to Quality Control Technicians, including performance reviews, time off requests, and training.
- Design and perform laboratory experiments to develop specific chemistry systems and improve product quality.
- Collaborate with production personnel to resolve pilot batch and production problems.
- Interact with sales personnel to understand existing product issues and product development needs.
- Provide technical support to customers and assist with troubleshooting and application development.
- Ensure laboratory work area is maintained in a safe and organized manner.
- Understand and comply with company safety protocols and regulations.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive new product development project success.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or higher.
- 5-10 years of experience with latex formulation.
- 2-3 years of management experience, preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Self-motivated and results-driven individual.
