Nurse Practitioner

Lampasas Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure a safe and supportive environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing services to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and ensuring proper handling and storage of medications and controlled substances.
- Supervise CNAs to ensure a high quality of care is provided to all residents, and assign daily work assignments to ensure positive outcomes for residents.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures, and ensure that safe work practices are utilized.
- Participate in care planning process and ensure the Nursing component is implemented, and maintain effective communication with residents, families, and facility staff.
Requirements:
- Current license by the State Board of Nursing as an RN.
- Ability to lead and motivate subordinates, and perform a variety of duties characterized by frequent change.
- Experience in the long term care setting preferred, and capable of working to prescribed nursing standards.
