Job Summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a skilled Seasonal Truck Driver to join our team for the busy season. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting agricultural products to customers across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Class A CDL truck to transport agricultural products, including fertilizer, chemicals, and seeds.
  • Load and unload products from railcars and trucks, using heavy-duty machinery and equipment.
  • Conduct regular maintenance tasks, including inspections and repairs, to ensure the safe operation of equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of inventory, including blended, bulk, and packaged products.
  • Deliver products to customer sites in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accurate and safe delivery.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal laws, including hours of service and load securement regulations.
  • Keep all work areas and vehicles clean and organized, conducting regular housekeeping duties.
  • Perform grounds maintenance, including snow removal, and warehouse work, including forklift operation and inventory management.
  • Report any customer complaints, repair or maintenance needs, or safety concerns to supervisor.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends to meet business demands.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.
  • Ability to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs, and bins, and into the back of a trailer.
  • Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures.
