Sailboat Rigger Technician

At Bardens Boat Yard Inc, we are seeking an experienced Sailboat Rigger to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires extensive knowledge of sailboat rigging and mast handling.

We are looking for skilled individuals who can step and unstep masts, move them in and out of storage buildings, and perform repairs during the winter months. As a Sailboat Rigger, you will work closely with our team to ensure seamless operations and high-quality results.

• Step and unstep masts as required
• Moving masts in and out of storage buildings
• Setting up before stepping the mast
• Tuning involved in mast handling
• Breaking down and storing masts during the fall

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Experience in sailboat rigging and mast handling
• Familiarity with sailboat designs and systems
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
