Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Animal Technician to join our team at Insight Global. As an Animal Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our animals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process animal samples, including injections and microbiology swabs
  • Monitor animal health and report any signs of illness or distress to the lead technician or veterinarian
  • Assist with administering medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
  • Maintain accurate records of animal health, treatments, and daily observations
  • Implement and monitor enrichment activities to promote the physical and mental well-being of the primates
  • Ensure that all equipment is cleaned and sanitized regularly, and no expired items are used
Requirements
  • Some level of experience working with animals is preferred
  • Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills are essential
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and cleaning
