Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patient care needs related to treating speech and language disorders and functional training in communication, swallowing, and cognitive impairments.
- Therapy Planning: Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with the plan of care and in coordination with other members of the healthcare team.
- Patient Education: Educate patients, families, and caregivers on areas of speech therapy in which they can participate and provide ongoing support and guidance.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Licensure: Must be currently licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of practice.
- Certification: Current CPR certification.
- Transportation: Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
