Job Overview:
As a Permanent Maintenance Engineering Supervisor, you will have the chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced setting where your expertise is valued and your leadership is crucial. This role entails overseeing the engineering maintenance team and ensuring that all machinery and equipment are maintained in optimal condition. You will be responsible for implementing continuous improvement strategies, lean manufacturing techniques, and preventative maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise the engineering maintenance team to ensure efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement to optimize maintenance processes.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing techniques to minimize waste and enhance productivity.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLC systems to maintain peak machine performance.
  • Conduct regular mechanical maintenance and repairs to ensure machinery operates effectively.
  • Apply knowledge of injection molding processes to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
  • Establish and manage a robust preventative maintenance program to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Encourage a culture of kaizen, motivating team members to seek continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate with other departments to align maintenance activities with production schedules and quality standards.
  • Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and devise corrective actions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role within the engineering sector.
  • Proven experience with continuous improvement strategies and lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical maintenance procedures and practices.
  • Experience with injection molding processes and machinery.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Strong knowledge of kaizen principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient in using software and applications related to maintenance management and engineering design.
