Job Description
At CHOICE ABA AUTISM SERVICES NJ LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our team. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will provide clinical skills instruction based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, and school settings.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
  • Following prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
  • Collecting, recording, and summarizing data on observable client behavior.
  • Assisting with parent and caregiver training in line with clients' individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
  • Effectively communicating with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Utilizing safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
  • Maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Collaborating with the treatment team, including clients, parents, and caregivers, outside professionals, Lead Behavioral Technician, ABA Interns, and coworkers.
  • Maintaining and acquiring technical knowledge by attending required trainings.
  • Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by the code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA laws.
  • Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to clinical skills, professional development, ethics, and technology.
