Job Summary

Novant Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in an ambulatory specialty setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of safety and quality.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in oncology services and a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care that promote optimal health or support a peaceful death. Your expertise will be essential in navigating the complexities of healthcare and ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care and education to patients and their families
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans of care
  • Assessing patient needs and developing strategies to address them
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in the appropriate state
  • One to two years of relevant experience in oncology services
  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of safety and quality
