Job Overview

This is an ongoing position that involves performing radiographic procedures, communicating with patients, and positioning patients for various examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures using X-ray equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and address concerns.
  • Position patients accurately and select exposure factors for radiologic examinations.
  • Identify patients, label images, and process them to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Radiologists to assist, communicate, and consult on patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and document billing codes.
Requirements
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Working Conditions
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders frequently.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for the majority of the day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist, lift up to 20 lbs. over the head, and carry up to 40 lbs. a reasonable distance.
  • May be exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiation hazards, as well as blood and body fluids.
Compensation and Benefits
