About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Infrastructure Architect to join our team at ITR. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, network engineering, and cloud computing. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our infrastructure is scalable, secure, and meets the needs of our business.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Design and implementation of IT infrastructure: You will design and implement our IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and security systems.
  • Management of cloud services: You will manage our cloud services, including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Implementation of automation tools: You will implement automation tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef, to streamline our deployment and management processes.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting: You will monitor our infrastructure and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices in IT infrastructure architecture.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure architecture
  • Strong knowledge of system administration, network engineering, and cloud computing
  • Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

In addition, you should have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, plus benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Location

This position is based in Dalton, GA, but we offer remote work options.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • BA / BS degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or equivalent practical experience
  • Relevant experience in a Fortune-500-scale, IT-related department seven years
  • Demonstrated experience serving in a system administration, system engineering, or database administration role.
