About the JobThe ideal candidate will have experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant and possess a Physical Therapy Assistant Associate's or Bachelor's Degree. A licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in California is required, along with familiarity with exercise and physical therapy equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide patient care under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.
- Assist with treatment programs, including carrying out skilled treatment programs as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Communicate patient comments and activities to therapists clearly via verbal or written word.
- Document in charts using accepted medical terminology and format.
- Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, third party payors, and others at all times.
- Experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Physical Therapy Assistant Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
- Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in California.
- Familiarity with exercise and physical therapy equipment.
- Medical, vision, dental, flexible spending account (FSA), dependent care assistance, company-paid life insurance, and long term disability.
- Voluntary benefit plans and 401k plan.
- Up to $20,000 for relocation, sign-on bonuses, and/or student loan assistance.
