Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Nexus HR Services. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with treatment programs.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant and possess a Physical Therapy Assistant Associate's or Bachelor's Degree. A licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in California is required, along with familiarity with exercise and physical therapy equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide patient care under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.
  2. Assist with treatment programs, including carrying out skilled treatment programs as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
  3. Communicate patient comments and activities to therapists clearly via verbal or written word.
  4. Document in charts using accepted medical terminology and format.
  5. Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, third party payors, and others at all times.
Qualifications
  • Experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Physical Therapy Assistant Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in California.
  • Familiarity with exercise and physical therapy equipment.
