Job Summary

Barrett Auto LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately diagnose and repair complex automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
  • Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid flushes
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues efficiently
  • Provide accurate estimates for labor and parts, ensuring transparency and building customer trust
  • Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed
  • Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through continuous learning and training

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as an automotive technician, mechanic, or similar role
  • ASE certification or equivalent preferred, but not required
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
