Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Physiatry Physician to join our team at ProTouch Staffing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients with physical disabilities, musculoskeletal disorders, and chronic pain conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient assessments, medical history, and diagnostic tests.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists to provide comprehensive care.
  • Prescribe medication, therapeutic exercises, and assistive devices to manage pain and improve mobility.
  • Perform interventional procedures, such as nerve blocks and injections, to alleviate pain and enhance functional outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) or related specialty.
  • Current state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Proven experience working as a Physiatry Medicine Physician, preferably in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
  • Strong clinical skills in conducting evaluations, performing procedures, and managing complex medical conditions.
