Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Driver to transport residents on routine scheduled shopping excursions, appointments, and other outings. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CDL, good driving record, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport residents safely and efficiently to various destinations
  • Schedule routine preventative maintenance for vehicles and ensure they are in good working condition
  • Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles, inside and out
  • Assist in gathering residents before and during outings and ensure their safety at all times
  • Keep records and schedules of individual resident requests
  • Calculate group trip costs and obtain charge paperwork from residents
  • Record mileage and maintain vehicle log
  • Track gas purchases and submit bills to the Business Office Manager
  • Maintain a First Aid kit and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Valid CDL
  • Good driving record and acceptable to the company insurance carrier
  • High school education
  • Class B license preferred
  • Minimum one-year experience preferred
Work Environment

The CDL Driver will work primarily weekdays, with a flexible schedule of 20 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the required duties of the position on a regular, predictable basis.
