Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist PRN Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of x-ray examinations, including CT, ultrasound, and angiography.

You will work closely with our medical staff to ensure accurate and efficient diagnosis, while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform x-ray examinations using portable and stationary equipment, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Select appropriate equipment and procedures for each examination, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Position patients accurately and comfortably, taking into account their physical limitations and needs.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Assist in training students and ancillary personnel, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities, contributing to the enhancement of our services and processes.

Requirements

  • State Registered Radiologic Technician (RRT) certification or equivalent.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Knowledge of ALARA principles and radiation safety practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
