Therapist of Pulmonary Medicine

We invite applications for a Respiratory Therapist position at the University of Iowa Health Care Medical Center Downtown. This role requires a graduate of a Commission of Accreditation Respiratory Care (CoARC) approved program and a valid State of Iowa Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen and aerosol therapy, administration of specialty gases, application of ventilators, arterial puncture, blood gas analysis, and other duties as assigned
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient-driven protocols
This position offers a competitive salary of $51,829 per year (100% time), plus benefits including a fringe benefit package, two retirement plans-TIAA/CREF and IPERS with up to 10% employer contributions, flexible spending accounts, and additional voluntary retirement options.
