Business Analyst I - Commercial Lending

Old National Bank is seeking an experienced Business Analyst I to serve as a liaison between IT, software vendors, and the Commercial Lending line of business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business operations and system requirements processes, with experience in administration of loan origination systems, preferably Abrigo or nCino. They will be responsible for establishing great relationships, determining in-depth understanding of business processes and strategy, analyzing, documenting, and communicating business requirements, and guiding the development and configuration of systems to achieve business goals.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Collaborate with Line of Business and technical resources to ensure features and functionality are developed according to business requirements and client needs are appropriately incorporated.
  • Complete use cases and user stories to guide application development efforts, working closely with the development teams and business teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Evaluate existing business processes against industry standards, identify areas for improvement, and facilitate conversations with the business to drive actionable change in alignment with state priorities and key results.

Additional Business Analyst Competencies:
  • Analysis: Evaluate complex data, identify trends, draw conclusions, and work with team to make recommendations.
  • Communication: Written and verbal communications should be clear, concise, and geared to the audience.
  • Project Management: Plan, schedule, and track multiple and sometimes competing initiatives and be able to prioritize.
  • Technical: Solid grasp of SDLC, platform capabilities, best practices for development, and the translation between requirements and design.
