Job Summary:

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen patients before exams to ensure safety and accuracy
  • Explain MRI procedures to patients and prepare them for exams
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision
  • Adjust scan parameters as needed and maintain patient records
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and HIPAA guidelines

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintaining imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed
  • Train new associates and provide technical expertise

Requirements:

  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state
  • Current CPR certification
  • Training and experience sufficient to competently perform MRI procedures independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in imaging specialty
  • Bilingual
