COMPENSATION: The hourly wage for this position ranges from $16.00 to $16.00, influenced by various factors including the applicant's skills and qualifications, relevant degrees and certifications, prior work experience, market data, and other pertinent elements. Additional compensation may include bonuses or commissions where applicable. This represents Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position at the time of posting.

If selected, the employee will be in an 'at-will position,' and Aramark reserves the right to adjust base salary (along with any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to individual performance, departmental performance, and market conditions.

Key Responsibilities

- Efficiently operate a register/POS and manage cash and credit transactions.

- Welcome and assist customers while anticipating their needs.

- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to brand standards.

- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with location standards.

- Count, organize, and balance the cash drawer, complete cashier slips, and make deposits.

- Adhere to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures.

- Set up and dismantle coffee stations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.

- Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.

- Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware, and condiments.

- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.

- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

- Previous customer service experience is preferred.

- Prior cash handling experience is preferred.

- Experience as a barista is preferred.

- Basic math and counting skills are required.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Must adhere to the required dress code as assigned.

- Must be able to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.

- Completion of Food Handling Certification as required.

This role may involve physical demands, including but not limited to lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. This position may also require uniforms and/or the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
