Job Overview

At PPS-HPS, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections of small medical device components in a manufacturing setting, utilizing microscopes, vision systems, and various measuring instruments.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to specific Work Instructions. Additionally, the inspector is responsible for completing all relevant documentation associated with the inspection process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections of medical device components using microscopes, vision systems, and measuring instruments.
  • Verify that components meet specifications and standards.
  • Document inspection results and complete relevant paperwork.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inspection-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience with inspection and quality control.
  • Hands-on experience using microscopes and gages.
  • Familiarity with CMM and comparators is preferred.
  • Experience with SmartScope, FineScan, OGP, CT scanners, or other vision systems is advantageous.
  • Medical device or aerospace parts experience is preferred.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination for handling small parts.
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Strong reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
  • Ability to complete detailed paperwork with precision.
