About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic enclosures for aero gas turbine engines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform component trade studies to optimize enclosure design and functionality
  • Collaborate with electronics engineering to ensure enclosures meet both electronic and mechanical requirements
  • Develop detailed drawings and model-based definitions to support project and manufacturing needs
  • Orchestrate technical reviews and communicate solutions with project and customer teams
  • Ensure compliance with applicable product certification requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2+ years of design experience, or Master's degree in Engineering, or PhD in Engineering
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Preferred: 5+ years of experience in electronic enclosures design, familiarity with cross-discipline engineering concepts, and knowledge of aero gas turbine control systems
