About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Chief Pilot to lead our helicopter operations team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our helicopter fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of pilots and support staff to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our helicopter fleet.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop and implement training programs for pilots and support staff.
  • Ensure that all aircraft are properly maintained and equipped for scheduled flight operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the flight operations team to ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a helicopter pilot with a strong background in leadership and management.
  • Proven track record of safe and efficient operation of helicopter fleets.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
