Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Heartis Village Brookfield. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and ambulation.
  • Support Independence: Help residents maintain their independence by promoting dignity and physical safety.
  • Engage in Life Enrichment: Participate in and assist residents with activities, such as life skills, hobbies, and other life-enriching activities.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure the cleanliness and safety of resident rooms and work areas.
Requirements
  • Certified Nurse's Aid Certification: Preferred, but not required.
  • High School Diploma/GED: Required.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with residents, management, and colleagues.
  • Customer Service Skills: Superior customer service skills are essential.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle multiple priorities and make sound judgments.
