We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of routine and specialized technical procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate fluoroscopy, digital angiography equipment, and other diagnostic imaging modalities to assist physicians in the performance of cardiovascular diagnostic testing and therapeutic/interventional procedures.
- Assist physicians in the performance of hemodynamic assessment tools, including cardiac output, blood gas analyzers, oxygen consumption analyzers, and patient monitoring equipment.
- Operate procedural equipment, including intravascular ultrasound, fractional flow reserve, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and impella.
- Associates degree or diploma from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- BLS certification is required.
- ACLS certification is required, but the employee has one year to obtain the certification if the ACLS is a first-time endeavor.
- Certification from the ARRT as an RT(R)(CVI), RT(R)(CI) or RT(R)(VI) and licensure by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.
- Maintenance of 12 contact hours of education every year.
- Cath and/or EP experience.
