Job Summary

Frito-Lay North America is seeking a skilled Regional Class A CDL Driver to join our team. As a Regional Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor/trailer and transporting products to and from specified destinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products to and from specified destinations
  • Load and unload trailers, including manual and palletized loading/unloading
  • Transport chips, dips, and other products to and from large grocery stores, Frito-Lay manufacturing facilities, and other traffic centers
  • Obtain signatures of receipt, pick up returns, complete logs, and review invoices and/or manifests
  • Use an electronic logging device, such as a tablet or onboard computer
  • Communicate with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch throughout the day or night
  • Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections
Requirements
  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license
  • At least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or more than 2,500 accident-free hours
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, up to five hours daily, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work up to 14 hours a day and drive a tractor-trailer for extended periods, up to 11 hours per day, with or without a reasonable accommodation
