Logistics Coordinator

Marotta Controls, Inc. is a renowned manufacturer of precision control components and systems, specializing in the design, development, and production of high-performance valves and sub-systems.

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist (2nd Shift) to join our team at our Montville, NJ corporate offices location. As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for performing tasks involved in issuing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment in response to inventory requests and work order pick lists.

• Receive, track, and distribute materials and supplies with accuracy and efficiency
• Pull/pick materials (stocked items) for work orders and prepare them for shipment as required
• Maintain accurate counts and inventory records, identifying any discrepancies or issues regarding inventory balances and locations
• Assist in cycle counting and ensure that work area is clean, secure, and well-maintained

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior inventory control experience (1-2 years) in manual and electronic stockroom department functions
• Effective verbal/written communication skills for multi-faceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organization
• Computer literate, with MS Office/PC experience
• Able to lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds

• This is a full-time position on the 2nd shift, working 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, starting at 3:30 pm to midnight
• No travel is expected for this position
• The employee must be a U.S. citizen and/or have an export license if required by Federal, State, or local government contracts
