Job Summary:

Hagerstown Ford is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of vehicles leaving our dealership.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough inspections of used vehicles to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Work closely with our service advisors to identify and address any issues that may affect the vehicle's performance or safety.
  • Collaborate with our technicians to diagnose and repair any problems that are discovered during the inspection process.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to provide them with accurate information about the vehicle's condition and any necessary repairs.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer specifications and industry standards to ensure that our vehicles meet the highest quality standards.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • ASE Certification and a strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
