Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and assist in promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents.
Responsibilities- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Ambulate residents with care and attention to their needs.
- Apply proper lifting and transferring techniques to ensure resident safety.
- Provide proper positioning and use of postural supports to maintain resident comfort.
- Maintain residents' positioning as needed to prevent discomfort or injury.
- Weigh residents on schedule and record weights accurately to track their progress.
- Directly respond to the needs and concerns of residents and family members within the scope of practice.
- Work collaboratively with the care giving team to identify and resolve resident and family issues.
- Establish effective communication and interaction with residents and families to ensure their needs are met.
- Use proper feeding techniques while respecting personal dignity and meeting the residents' needs for socialization.

To be considered for this role, candidates must:
- Have completed a Nurse Assistant Training program and hold a Certificate
- Obtain the Certified Nurse Assistant Certification within 120 days of hire
- Be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors
- Meet all local health regulations and pass a post-employment physical exam, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry
