Machinist Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist Specialist to join our team at Align Precision. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines with precision and accuracy.
About the Role:
- Set up and operate CNC machines such as 3 & 4-Axis Mills & Turning Centers with high efficiency and quality.
- Maintain a strong attention to detail and adhere to allocated run rates.
- Collaborate with the Department Lead to identify issues and implement improvements.
- Develop and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC machines.
- Strong working knowledge of machine and controller functions.
- Solid understanding of GD&T and applications.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Competencies:
- Mechanical skills and ability to work with tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
- Physical demands include standing for long periods, walking, and lifting products up to 40 pounds.
Work Environment:
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with moderate noise levels. You will work closely with a team of professionals who share a passion for manufacturing excellence.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in machining or programming preferred.
Language Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation.
Estimated Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
