Ultrasound Tech Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech Technician to join our team at TotalMed Staffing for a travel assignment in Lancaster, South Carolina.

Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to work as an Ultrasound Tech Technician in a dynamic environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations using various modalities and equipment
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Operate ultrasound equipment, adjusting settings as needed to obtain high-quality images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and examination results
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
  • Current certification as an RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
