Job Title: Lx Box Operator

Michael Foods, Inc. is a leading food processing and distribution company with a strong presence in the industry. We are seeking a skilled Lx Box Operator to join our team in Lenox, Iowa.

Job Summary:

This is a production position responsible for operating automatic box erection, flap control, bag insertion, and labeling equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and cleaning equipment, operating machinery, and ensuring product quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and clean equipment prior to start time to ensure on-time start-ups.
  • Operate case erector, flap controller, bag inserter, and labeling machines.
  • Provide correct packaging materials to box machines.
  • Perform quality checks on product, ensuring correct packaging and labeling.
  • Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, and maintain sanitary conditions.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One to three months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to attain forklift certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers and employees.
