Job Summary

OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Pathologists' Assistant to join our team in the laboratory unit. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our pathologists in the processing of laboratory specimens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case accessioning and gross description of tissue specimens
  • Sampling and processing of laboratory specimens
  • Evisceration and prosection of autopsies
  • Execution of tasks with varying levels of supervision based on activity
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited Anatomic Pathologist Assistant program
  • ASCP certification
  • Prefer 1-2 years of grossing experience
Work Environment

Our laboratory unit is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with various specimens. You will be required to wear red scrubs and utilize the EPIC EMR system.
