Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades to ensure the overall condition of our properties.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to minimize disruptions to our residents.
  • Tool and Equipment Management: Maintain and inventory all tools, supplies, and equipment owned by the company, ensuring they are in good working condition and readily available for use.
  • Reporting and Communication: Document and report any unusual or extraordinary circumstances affecting the property or residents, and maintain open communication with the Maintenance Supervisor and other team members.
  • Uniform and Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times, adhering to company uniform standards and expectations.
  • Customer Service: Provide courteous and efficient service to residents, responding to their maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • OSHA Compliance: Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Project Management: Maintain a project log of site maintenance activities, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Vendor Support: Assist with work performed during the turnover period, ensuring high-quality work is performed by vendors.
  • Winter Maintenance: Monitor sidewalks during snow season to prevent ice build-up, ensuring safe access for residents.
  • General Repairs: Perform general furniture repair, painting, plumbing, appliance repair, and minor electrical repairs as needed.
  • Policies and Procedures: Maintain a thorough knowledge of company policies and property community policies, ensuring compliance and adherence.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school graduate or GED certificate, with experience in apartment maintenance preferred; HV/AC certification preferred.
