Job Title: Truss Product Specialist

At Menards, we are seeking a skilled Truss Product Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Truss Design Department, you will play a critical role in preparing and developing truss design quotes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quote blueprints and create truss quotes from plans
  • Provide preliminary layouts on blueprint plans
  • Assist team members in resolving structural design problems
  • Assist with store training on truss designs and quoting process
  • Grow the market within 150 miles from the operating truss plant
  • Meet and land new contractors
  • Measure foundations

Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Marketing, Construction, or Truss Sales
  • Exceptional guest service skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Able to manage multiple concurrent activities
  • Knowledge of MiTek software (preferred)
