Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Recreation Leader to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Recreation Leader, you will be responsible for supervising various sports and facilities at our playgrounds and parks, as well as providing excellent customer service to our participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise adult indoor and outdoor sports, including inline hockey, basketball, softball, volleyball, and soccer
  • Manage daily operations of the Clovis Batting Range, including minor equipment maintenance, inventory, and customer service
  • Supervise participants at the Clovis Rotary Skatepark and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Conduct special community recreation events and organize recreation supplies and equipment
  • Complete incident and participation reports, and direct the activities of recreation volunteers and referees
Requirements
  • Possession of current and valid First Aid and CPR certificates, or the ability to obtain within three months of hire
  • Education sufficient to ensure the ability to read, write, and perform basic math skills at the level required for successful job performance
  • Six months of work experience, internship, or volunteer experience in any field
  • Availability to work between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM, seven days a week, with some accommodations possible for student schedules or other commitments
Working Conditions

Upon completion of the training period, individuals will be required to work independently on day and evening shifts and will be required to work in several recreation locations.
