Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientist to Senior Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry to join our team in Rockville, Maryland. As a key member of our medicinal chemistry team, you will play a critical role in the discovery and development of high-impact projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive preclinical candidate development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide synthetic and medicinal chemistry expertise across company projects and initiatives, leveraging your knowledge of organic synthesis and problem-solving skills to drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with corporate partners, project teams, and cross-functional teams to support preclinical programs and drive project success.
  • Explore and apply new technological tools, methodologies, and knowledge to expand our research capabilities and stay at the forefront of industry advancements.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry or medicinal chemistry, with a strong background in synthetic organic chemistry.
  • Excellent problem-finding and problem-solving skills, with a track record of achievement in terms of publications and patent applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in a team environment.
