Job Description

• Teaching Responsibilities: Teach community & technical college students in a specific field of expertise and engage with students to help them learn.
• Syllabus Development: Review and refine a class syllabus to include instructor-specific contact information and course policies, ensuring that it meets department and college standards.
• Course Planning: Plan and create lectures, in-class discussions, and assignments that cater to the needs of our diverse student body.
• Assessment and Grading: Grade assigned papers, quizzes, and exams while assessing students' progress based on participation, performance in class, assignments, and examinations.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A master's degree in the desired discipline is preferred, although applicants with a bachelor's degree and relevant experience may also be considered.
• Applicants must have teaching and/or instructional experience, preferably in a similar field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
