The Veterans Health Administration is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Surgeon to join its team at the Phoenix VA Health Care System in Arizona.
About the Role
We are looking for a board-certified/board-eligible Critical Care Surgeon who can provide high-quality patient care, manage complex cases, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide surgical and critical care services to patients in the ICU and OR
- Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to after-hours coverage
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary package, including an annual salary range of $250,000-$400,000, depending on experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, we provide:

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree, a full and unrestricted license from any U.S. state or territory, and U.S. citizenship. Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA policy.
