Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at LCMC Health East Jefferson General Hospital. As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any emergencies that may arise
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and imaging results
Requirements
  • ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI
  • BLS certification
  • LSRT certification (will accept temporary certification)
  • Experience with Siemens MRI equipment preferred
  • Ability to start IVs
Work Schedule

This is a travel contract opportunity with a Monday-Friday schedule from 5am-1:30pm. Rotating call on nights and weekends is required, as well as weekend and holiday coverage.

Scrubs and Equipment

Scrubs are required and must be hunter green in color. Experience with Siemens MRI equipment is preferred.
