The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all physical assets are effectively maintained to support our operational needs while adhering to budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:- Work under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager.
- Develop and maintain maintenance protocols and ensure their execution.
- Oversee the rigging and installation of CNC and other machinery.
- Engage in departmental safety evaluations to identify and rectify potential hazards.
- Plan and supervise all repair and installation tasks.
- Distribute workload and oversee staff including custodians and janitors.
- Track equipment inventory and initiate orders as required.
- Monitor expenses and manage the maintenance budget.
- Maintain relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Keep detailed maintenance logs and report on daily operations.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations as well as state environmental and OSHA standards.
- Report directly to the Maintenance Manager.
- Demonstrated experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or in a similar supervisory capacity.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Electronics Trade School Graduate preferred.
- Experience in planning and executing maintenance operations.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and related technical areas.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and troubleshooting machine tool issues.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as oscilloscopes and digital voltmeters.
- Understanding of 120 Volt and 208/460 Volt Three Phase systems.
- Capability to track and report on maintenance activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership capabilities.
