We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Retention Account Associate to join our team at WM. As a key member of our commercial sales team, you will be responsible for generating shareholder value by using a consultative retention-based selling approach for Small/Medium commercial WM customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sound retention strategies to achieve budgeted retention goals.
- Utilize strong negotiation efforts to preserve business and secure updated contract agreements with WM customers.
- Grow revenues from existing customers by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Manage existing business relationships to maintain a net positive business performance in the commercial space.
- Collaborate with the Inside Sales Manager to resolve customer escalations and issues.
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
- One (1) year of business-to-business account management experience at a proficient level.
- Ability to effectively convert customer cancellation requests into long-term relationships.
- Ability to build relationships across a wide variety of business types.
- Ability to multi-task and perform computer duties across multiple screens while on the phone with customers.
